How to make CHEESE AND PASTE MEATBALLS Recipe
- 150 gr cheddar cheese
- 6 slices of salami
- 30 gr margarine
- Half a glass of flour
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- Black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Melt the margarine in the pan and add the flour. Roast until it turns pink. Add the milk little by little, without interrupting the mixing. When the bechamel has the consistency of sauce, remove it from the stove and leave it to be warmed.
Chop the slices of salami and cheese into small cubes. Add cheese and salami when the bechamel sauce is warm. Add 1 egg, salt and pepper and knead. Cut pieces from the mixture you prepared and prepare long croquettes.
Beat the remaining eggs on a plate. Spread the breadcrumbs on a large plate. Heat oil in a pan. Pour the croquettes you prepared into eggs and then breadcrumbs and fry. Take it on a paper towel and remove the excess oil. Serve hot.
