  • 1 cup chickpeas
  • 5 tablespoons tarhana
  • 1 tablespoon hot or sweet pepper paste
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
  • 5 cups of water
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Red chili pepper
  • Minced parsley

Wash the chickpea with plenty of water, strain the water, add water and boil. Put tarhana in a bowl, add 1 cup of water and mix. Take the sunflower oil and butter in the pot and heat it. Add the tomato paste and fry. Add tarhana and boiled chickpeas and mix. Add the remaining water and mix. Add the salt and pepper. Stir until the water boils. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes after boiling. Take it out of the stove and serve hot.
