- 1 cup almond
- 3/4 cup chestnut (Roasted, peeled)
- 4 tablespoons of water
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup Pistachios
- 1 egg yolk
- Baklava pastry
- 1/2 cup honey
- 75-100 g butter
How to make crispy chestnuts with honey

- Pass the almonds, chestnuts and Pistachios individually in a medium size. Roast the chestnuts. Roast the almonds in a saucepan and set aside. Put sugar and water, add almonds, chestnuts when it starts to caramelize. Add the lemon and vanilla. Take it out of the stove, add the pistachios you passed through the food processor and mix. Allow the mixture to cool, then add egg yolk and mix well.
- Cut the baklava dough, lubricate it with butter, fill and wrap it with your ingredients. Place on the tray, spread butter on it and put it in a preheated 180 degree oven.
- Prepare the sauce while cooking dessert. Dilute the honey, heat it slightly, do not boil. Add 3-4 drops of lemon. Cool. Pour over the resulting dessert. Garnish with pistachios and serve.
