Cyprus Dessert Ingredients
Ingredients for Cake
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup sunflower oil
1 packet vanilla
1 packet baking powder
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup powdered coconut
1 handful walnut – minced
Ingredients for Creamer
1 liter of milk
2 tablespoons of wheat starch
2 tablespoons of flour
1 pack of vanilla
½ cup of granulated sugar < br /> 200 grams of cream – whipped
Ingredients for Sherbet
2 cups of granulated sugar
2 cups of water
1 – 2 drops of lemon juice < / div>
Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and boil.
After boiling, add 1-2 drops of lemon juice and set aside.
For the cake;
Take the eggs in a mixing bowl and beat them lightly.
Add powdered sugar and beat well.
Add sunflower oil and whisk. Continue.
Add the vanilla and baking powder through a sieve and add to the egg mixture.
Add the coconut and breadcrumbs and mix them with a spatula.
Add the finely chopped coconut to your square glass oven dish ( 21 × 21) spread evenly.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 30 minutes.
Take it out of the oven and place the syrup you have cooled on the dessert you have warmed on the edge.
Cook milk, starch, flour and powdered sugar in a saucepan.
When it is thick, remove it from the stove and add the vanilla and mix.
After cooling, add the whipped cream and gently rub it together.
Spread the cream over the sherbet.
Sprinkle with coconut and walnuts and serve.
