How to make IZMIR MEATBALLS Recipe
- 500 gr minced meat
- 1 onion
- Half stale bread
- 2 potatoes
- 3 tomatoes
- 5 cayenne pepper
- Oil for frying

Crumble the stale bread into a bowl. Peel and grate the onion. Add minced meat, bread, onion, eggs, salt and pepper and knead.
Take small pieces of meatballs, roll them by hand and prepare meatballs in the form of long fingers.
Peel the potatoes. Wash and dry with a paper towel. Cut into an apple slice. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the potatoes. Arrange on the sides of a flat tray.
Fry the meatballs in the same oil and place them properly in the center of the tray. Cut the peppers into 2-3 pieces. Lightly fry and place on dumplings and potatoes.
Grate the tomatoes and dilute them with 1-2 spoons of water over the meatballs. Bake in a preheated 170 degree oven for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot.
